25 Sun salutations

My sister and I did 25 Sun salutations today. It's nowhere close to 108 but its still a good start! We took one hour and 10 minutes to complete it, and the idea of doing 108 in two hours and a bit sounds hard.

Doing 12 movements means that you're just done with one side, and then you have to do another 12 for the other side. So technically, its 24 movements!!

My sis offered to take pictures of me doing my charity work, she said that I'm in need of good yoga pictures. I'm really excited because it is my first charity event!!

I'd like to thank everyone who supported me, because without your kind words I would not have pushed myself as hard as I did today.

Britney Spears is here. But because of her, DJ Havana is playing in metros again!! I'm excited as hell because the last time I heard her play at PCD's concert, her music rocked! I'm going clubbing tonight despite saying I won't.

Which reminds me.. I'll be in Kuching from December 19th until January 1st. Who knows, I might feel bored in February and return again.. Kuching can be a bit dull to stay for more than one month. I rather be working and earning money.

I renewed my Permanent Residence yesterday and it cost me AUD260 dollars! Well technically I pay 1 dollar a week for 5 years lah.. but ugh.. I need to be saving money now not spending.

Thinking about converting myself to a citizen. But I think it's pretty pointless because Malaysia does not allow dual citizenship. So.. PR for now. Worry about the rest later.

I do, really.

When you're a lot older, you have to start thinking about so much more things. When the bills are due, money management, time management, doing 2398347 things at one time, fixed deposits, term deposits, planning what to do with your superannuation money...

Which credit cards are better, expenses for the month so that you can buy a new gadget, working 25 hours a week despite having an exam, opening bank accounts overseas for investments...

Oh, why can't we be young and carefree forever!

I think I just remembered vaguely that in my tipsy state I promised my jap friend I'll be going to Tiesto with her in February.... AWESOME!!

Tickets are not cheap though.. even Lady Gaga's concert is cheaper than a guest appearance from Tiesto.

Well, honestly I'm that big a fan of Tiesto but since everyone is raving about him coming to Perth, and tickets sold out in 7 minutes, I should really go! Trance is not my thing either, I can't seem to get the hang of those kind of doom doom music as to though repetitive beats of RnB.

But tickets been saved for the viet gangster and I.

Everyone's been asking me.. when are your exams?

I don't have any! Last assignment due on Wednesday, but not too worried because it is only 750 words. Yeah, I became tiao ke like that.

Right now, I'm catching up with three years worth of Pathology and Immunology, as well as reading my yoga books.

It is really hard understanding the human body in a yogi's perspective. To me, it's science. But to them.. it's an entirely new world.

For example, from what I understood is that an embryo does not have prana (in breath) because they do not have lungs of their own. They survive through the mother's prana. But when they age into a foetus, they begin their prana, because they have begun developing their lungs.

Stuff like that lar.

Bleh. I had a long night.

Went to Nando's ex work mate's 21st birthday party.. started drinking at 7pm, got the birthday boy drunk (team effort!) and then left at 9.30pm to go home and change.

10.30pm left with sister and cousin to Metros.

Clubbed until 2am (T-pain's crew was DJ-ing!).. the music was pretty awesome. A friend is working as a dancer now in Metros. It was painful to see her dance because she apparently has a "dance crew".

Hard to explain.. but she's not great in free styling lah. Maybe she's awesome with choreography dancing!

Anyways, got drunken messages from V who was just down the road so I hopped over to see him. He was pissed drunk, proclaiming his love for me. When I got to their karaoke room, everyone was half pissed and we continued drinking some more, singing "Sephia" and other old hits.

Finally left at 3am.. ugh. Then it hit me I was drinking for the whole night. Literally. For like, 8 hours.

Thank God I wasn't hung over though.

It is today right? Not too sure, it's been a while since I last celebrated Halloween.. with Graham in his Bundy bear suit and me in a police woman outfit. With hand cuffs.

Ah.. those were the days... when all you do is worry about where to party the following week and whether the club would play your favourite song.

Gone were the days when I would party two nights in a row.

Gone were the days where I would down shots like crazy just because I can.

Gone were the days where I would go shopping on a Friday afternoon.. just so I can have something new to wear that night.

Maybe settled life is good for me. I go out less now, work more. I rather rent dvds and stay home on Friday nights with my sister now, than go and have a big night out.

I rather drink cocktails now than hard liquor.

I AM GETTING OLD AREN'T I.

Having said that, I have two parties to go to tonight. Teehee!

I have many things I want to blog about. Yet I'm afraid of people reading my innermost thoughts, my darkest secrets. Sometimes I wonder, do I really care?

Actually I do.

My fund raiser is going steady and well, all thanks to all those kind hearted people out there! Including the little girls from Corpus Christi, I'd like to thank you guys for sacrificing a little bit of your pocket money to help those in need.

Thanks to all those who tried to donate too but couldn't! Your kind thoughts are appreciated too!

I can't believe I'm awake at 2am right now (yes, I sleep at 10pm okay)!! It's like those who usually sleep at 2am and still awake at 6am. Same difference!

I watched The Rise of the Lycans just now. I must say, it wasn't great but it sorts of explained everything after that! Now I feel like watching Underworld and Underworld 2. Gotta love Kate Beckinsale!

I borrowed Phantom of the Opera as well, I was suddenly inspired to watch an Emmy Rossum movie after listening to her song, Slow me down.

It's sort of a movie time for me now, since I have plenty of time on my hands after completing hundreds of assignments! I'm so free I'm actually bored. And in denial that I like being free and exam-less.

And I can't believe Tokyopop doesn't have the rights to publish Rave Master anymore. Ugh three books left! Now I got to wait another year for Del Rey to publish all three books at once... I'm like upset because I've been following these manga since 5 years ago.

It's a long wait until September 2010.. who knows what we'll be by then.
